An easy recipe for pico de gallo, also known as salsa fresca or fresh salsa. Made with tomatoes, peppers, onions, cilantro and lime, this is a popular healthy snack to serve with chips, on tacos, or with grilled meats.

- 1/2 cup red bell pepper finely diced
- 1/4 cup onion, red or white or a combination of both finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped
- 1 medium jalapeño minced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 lime (juice of)
- salt to taste
This recipe makes 2 cups of fresh salsa.
