Peach Ginger Iced Tea

This Peach Ginger Iced Tea is a refreshing glass of iced green tea, sweetened with fresh peaches and flavoured with ginger and honey or maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe organic* peaches peeled, pitted and puréed in a blender
  • 4 cups steeped green tea use loose green tea leaves or tea bags
  • 2 tbsp very finely grated fresh ginger root
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  • Steep the tea leaves, using very hot, but not boiling water.
  • Add the grated ginger to the tea right away.
  • Pour the peach purée into a 1 quart Mason jar or pitcher, add the tea and gently stir in the maple syrup or honey, a little at a time until you’ve reached the desired sweetness. Chill.
  • Pour over ice cubes in a tall glass or pint jar and enjoy.
