The easiest (and the best) Peach Sangria recipe ever! Fresh peaches gently flavour Prosecco or your favourite sparkling white wine. Not too sweet! Just right. Dice fresh peaches, soak in Triple Sec and lemon juice, top with ice and Prosecco and serve.
¼cuporange liqueur,like Triple Sec, Cointreau, or Gran Marnier
¼cuplemon juice,freshly squeezed
2 - 3tablespoonssugar
3 - 4mediumripe peaches,pitted and diced (or frozen peaches)
ice cubes
750ml (26 oz) Prosecco, Moscato or Champagnechilled
1cupfresh blueberries,or blackberries (optional)
Instructions
Add orange liqueru, lemon juice and sugar to the bottom of a large pitcher and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add diced fresh peaches (no need to peel) and blueberries.
Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight to allow flavours to blend.
Fill glasses half full with ice, add the peach mixture to each glass.
Top with Prosecco or sparkling white wine.
The peaches will gently flavour your drink as you sip.
Notes
You can prepare the peaches well ahead of serving time, even the night before. That way they soak up the flavour of the orange liqueur and lemon juice.
