Dill Caprese Salad recipe is a twist on the popular classic Caprese Salad. It combines juicy tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and replaces the customary basil with a homemade dill dressing.
First, make the dill dressing and set it aside to allow the flavours to blend.
Slice the tomatoes, then arrange on a platter or a shallow bowl, alternating slices of fresh mozzarella balls with sliced tomatoes. Drizzle with dill dressing.
Sprinkle generously with sea salt or Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Add a few sprigs of fresh dill for garnish, or sprinkle the salad with finely chopped dill.
Notes
Cover and refrigerate any leftover salad. It will last for 2 to 3 days. The homemade dill dressing will stay fresh for about a week when refrigerated.
