I'm always on the lookout for easy, make-ahead meals.  This Maple Garlic Glazed Chicken is super quick and easy. Baked in a sweet but salty, succulent garlicky sauce, it has hints of ginger too.

Using bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs ensures that the chicken will stay moist and juicy. However, you can easily use boneless chicken breasts or thighs too. Just reduce the cooking time slightly and check the temperature with an instant-read thermometer.

I definitely want to try this however I'm stuck at home and the only ingredient in missing is ginger. Would it drastically affect the taste of I was to use powdered ginger perhaps? I have that on hand.

Oh definitely. Go ahead and use powdered ginger, but use only 1 tsp. Enjoy!

Fabulous Flavour! We enjoyed this recipe very much. Husband looking forward to trying the marinade with pork next time. So simple, using ingredients we always have on hand. We grated 1 tbsp of fresh Turmeric for added healthy healing benefits.

This sounds great! Can you tell me where the lime comes in? Zest or juice?

        Hi Megan,
I was confused when I read your comment, but not as confused as you must have been. I have made this recipe SO many times, and never saw the "hints of ginger and lime" until now! My apologies--you'll see later in the recipe card that it says "hints of ginger and garlic" which is what it is supposed to read! Thanks for pointing this out. I've corrected it in the blog post. PS Hope you like this recipe!

I used this recipe in my Instant Pot and worked great! I put them in the oven on broil after cooking in the Instant Pot to make them a bit crispy 🙂 I had to add a small amount of water to the marinade and chicken once it went in the Instant Pot, but other than that no other adjustments needed!

Hi Melissa, It should only take 10 - 15 minutes in the Instant Pot (for bone-in chicken). Enjoy!

I also added some quartered onion and an additional clove of garlic which I made sure some of which simmered in the pot with the glaze.
